Manager – Family Office Tax Specialist (Private Tax)

About the role

As a Manager in PwC Australia's Private Tax Family Office team, you will provide tailored tax advisory, compliance and estate planning services to high‑net‑worth individuals, families and privately owned businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Advise high net‑wealth individuals, families and business owners on complex tax matters including restructures, capital gains tax, Division 7A and trust losses.
• Provide comprehensive tax compliance, planning and advisory services for diverse client portfolios comprising trusts, companies, partnerships and individuals.
• Deliver family advisory services such as succession and estate planning to help clients preserve and transition wealth.
• Liaise with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) regarding Top 500 and Next 5000 programs, ensuring compliance and proactive issue resolution.

Required profile

• Strong tax technical expertise across private wealth and family office structures.
• Proven experience managing high‑value client portfolios and building trusted relationships.
• Leadership capability to mentor and develop junior team members and contribute to the growth of a Private Tax specialist team.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including engagement with regulatory bodies like the ATO.
