Manager, Enterprise Business Development - APJ

About the role

Chainguard delivers hardened, secure, production-ready builds of open source software used by enterprises such as Anduril, Canva, Fortinet, OpenAI and Snowflake. As Manager of Business Development, you will lead and mentor a team of BDRs responsible for outbound opportunity generation, working closely with the Senior Manager of Business Development, Marketing and Sales leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Build out the growing BDR function with recruiting, hiring and onboarding of top talent
• Develop the team's skills for outbound prospecting, qualifying and opportunity creation
• Give ongoing feedback and coaching in weekly 1:1s
• Work with Demand Generation on MQLs and campaigns, and with Sales on outbound strategies and qualification
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Product on messaging to target accounts and on account coverage, personas and the BDR-to-AE hand-off
• Forecast weekly, monthly and quarterly attainment and monitor team KPIs to raise BDR productivity

Required profile

• 2+ years leading a team of BDRs; Cybersecurity, DevSecOps, Infrastructure and OSS experience strongly preferred
• Experience with funnel management across multiple channels
• Hands-on enablement experience in onboarding and learning and development
• Proven ability to recruit, hire and train new people
• Aptitude for creative solutions to team efficiency, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Located in the APJ region
