Manager, BIM Advisory

About the role

Aurecon is seeking a Manager, BIM Advisory to lead digital engineering transformation for clients. You will combine strategic insight, delivery expertise, and capability development to help organisations adopt BIM and digital engineering practices across the asset lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and communicate strategic guidance for clients navigating digital and BIM transformation.
• Lead the creation of transformation roadmaps, conduct readiness assessments, and advise on asset information strategy.
• Embed digital expertise into engineering and advisory projects from inception through commissioning and handover.
• Oversee digital engineering services, BIM management, and systems integration.
• Align strategic intent with on‑ground delivery, translating technical requirements into actionable outcomes.
• Identify capability gaps, define future skills requirements, and design strategic skills initiatives.

Required profile

• A degree in Architecture, Engineering, Land Surveying or equivalent experience.
• Deep knowledge of digital technologies, design and engineering practices, asset information, and transformation methodologies.
• Strong curiosity about client needs and ability to build trust.
• Comfort working across disciplines and organisational boundaries.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and communicate clearly to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
