Management Accountant

About the role

Munro Footwear Group is seeking a Management Accountant to join the Finance team. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will work closely with stakeholders across the business to provide financial analysis, reporting and insights that support commercial decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse monthly management reports, delivering clear commentary on performance.
• Conduct variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
• Partner with cost‑centre owners and department heads to help them understand and manage financial results.
• Produce ad‑hoc reports to support business decisions and participate in the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
• Represent Finance on cross‑functional projects and identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, controls and reporting.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Tertiary qualification in accounting with CA or CPA status.
• Strong management accounting background, including month‑end reporting and analysis.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail and strong stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in retail, FMCG or a multi‑site environment is highly regarded.
