Maintenance Technician - Elevators & Escalators

About the role

KONE is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join its Service team in Launceston, Tasmania. You will provide servicing and maintenance of elevators and escalators across various projects throughout Northern Tasmania. The role suits someone who enjoys working with industry-leading products and technology in a global organisation that emphasises training, safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to maintenance activities and repairs
• Respond to breakdowns on elevators and escalators
• Carry out all activities in line with KONE policies and procedures, including health, quality and safety standards
• Maintain customer relationships in the local region
• Be able to start and finish at flexible times and work after hours as required

Required profile

• Registered electrical licence
• Valid full Australian driver's licence
• Experience managing critical breakdowns and key stakeholder expectations
• Ability to manage workload and competing priorities
• Commitment to working safely with a strong focus on quality
• Customer service mindset, excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Applicants must be a permanent resident or citizen of Australia or New Zealand
