Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

Tomago Aluminium is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of skilled tradespeople in a large‑scale industrial environment. You will ensure safe, high‑quality maintenance while supporting the plant’s reliability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of tradespeople to deliver safe, high‑quality maintenance.
• Plan, prioritize and adjust daily and weekly work to meet site needs.
• Balance planned maintenance with breakdowns and urgent priorities.
• Create a supportive team environment that encourages accountability.
• Collaborate closely with operations and planners to keep work coordinated.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, risk awareness and regulatory compliance.
• Identify issues early and drive practical, timely solutions.
• Continuously improve planning, execution and review of maintenance work.

Required profile

• Trade background in mechanical or electrical disciplines, or equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to lead in a fast‑paced, high‑risk industrial setting.
• Strong commitment to safety and doing things the right way.
• Good judgement, problem‑solving skills and the ability to prioritize work.
• Confidence to have performance‑driving conversations and hold people accountable.
