Maintenance Supervisor - Fixed Plant (8:6 FIFO from Perth)

About the role

Catalyst Metals owns and operates the Plutonic Gold Mine in the Eastern Gascoyne region of Western Australia, which is expanding underground. Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, the Maintenance Supervisor leads and coordinates a team delivering safe, reliable and efficient maintenance across the processing plant, with hands-on leadership, safety leadership and compliance with site standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the Fixed Plant mechanical maintenance team, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Coordinate planned and breakdown maintenance to maximise plant reliability, asset performance and equipment availability.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, coaching and development opportunities to build team capability.
• Manage maintenance scheduling, labour resources and backlog with the Maintenance Planner.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records in Pronto, including work orders, labour hours, parts usage, equipment history and downtime reporting.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and operational standards through risk management, SOP/JHA reviews and visible safety leadership.
• Monitor maintenance costs and performance, communicate key issues and improvements, and contribute to operational reporting and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Australian recognised Engineering Trade Qualification in Mechanical, Fitting & Machining or a related discipline.
• WA Statutory Supervisor (S26) qualification.
• Current WA C Class driver's licence.
• Demonstrated experience in a maintenance supervisory role in a fixed plant, processing or mining environment.
• Understanding of statutory safety, environmental and compliance requirements for plant maintenance.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
• Certificate IV in Frontline Management and Senior First Aid (desirable).
