Maintenance Service Technician – Automated Systems

About the role

As a Maintenance Service Technician at Toyota Automated Logistics, you will ensure that high‑performance automated material handling systems operate safely and efficiently at our Moorebank site. The role is full‑time, permanent, and works on a rotating 24/7 roster.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, install, and repair automated material handling equipment to maximise availability.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and system faults, reducing downtime.
• Respond to reactive service calls and proactively address issues during your shift.
• Analyse system performance data and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate maintenance, repair, and performance records and generate reports for stakeholders.
• Support and mentor junior technicians, sharing technical knowledge.
• Collaborate closely with the Service team to deliver high‑quality, customer‑focused outcomes.

Required profile

• Qualification (degree, diploma or certificate) in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Experience working with automated or industrial systems in a maintenance or service environment.
• Methodical, structured approach to troubleshooting and maintenance activities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with technical teams and stakeholders.
• Willingness to work a rotating 24/7 roster.
