About the role
A well-established Australian manufacturer is looking for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join its maintenance team, supporting production and workshop operations across a range of equipment including cable extruders, wire drawing and stranding machinery. The position is based in Dandenong South on a day shift from 7.00am to 3.06pm Monday to Friday, with ongoing casual work.
Required profile
- Proven manufacturing maintenance experience
- Flexible approach to overtime, breakdown support and occasional weekend work
Required skills
- Mechanical fault finding and breakdown maintenance
- Preventative and scheduled maintenance
- Turning, milling and machining
- Gearboxes, drive systems and mechanical assemblies
