Machine Operator – Food Manufacturing (Full-time)

About the role

We are looking for a Machine Operator to join the production line at Arnott’s Marleston site. The role involves operating and maintaining automated equipment that produces a range of iconic biscuits such as Tim Tams, Wagon Wheels and Mint Slice. The position is full‑time on a 12‑hour shift schedule, offering a 7‑day fortnight work pattern.

Key responsibilities

• Set‑up, run and change‑over biscuit production machines in accordance with safety, quality and performance standards.
• Monitor equipment performance, perform routine cleaning and ensure compliance with GMP and HACCP requirements.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and work with the maintenance team to minimise downtime.
• Document production output and report any quality deviations.

Required profile

• Permanent right to work in Australia.
• Ability to complete a full medical and mechanical aptitude test.
• Willingness to work 12‑hour day or night shifts on a rotating schedule.

Required skills

• Experience with automated machine operation in a food manufacturing environment (preferred).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting capability.
• Knowledge of GMP and HACCP standards.
• Ability to perform machine set‑up and change‑overs.
