Lubrication Technician – FIFO (Perth/Port Hedland)

About the role

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Lubrication Technician is responsible for hydrocarbon management within the fixed plant. This permanent full‑time role operates on an 8‑day FIFO roster from Perth or a DIDO schedule from Port Hedland, supporting plant reliability through best‑practice lubrication practices.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out manual grease lubrication of all rotating equipment.
• Maintain and replenish automatic grease systems.
• Replenish oil‑lubricated systems and take oil samples for laboratory analysis.
• Change filters on air and oil systems.
• Maintain the CMMS (Pronto) database and manage stock levels in lubrication storage areas.
• Install and maintain grease lines.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of relevant experience in a similar lubrication role.
• Practical knowledge of fixed‑plant equipment.
• High attention to detail and a disciplined work approach.
• Relevant trade qualification; preferred MLA1 or MLA2.
• Positive can‑do attitude with strong communication skills.
