Lounge Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Lounge Manager to oversee the daily operations of our airport lounge. The role involves leading a team, maintaining high safety and service standards, and ensuring profitable and efficient lounge performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of lounge operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, civil aviation regulations and international standards.
• Plan, organise and control operational functions in an economical manner.
• Monitor systems and regulatory requirements, taking corrective actions when needed.
• Drive continuous improvement by gathering guest feedback and developing the lounge product.
• Develop and manage the lounge budget, payroll and cost‑control measures.
• Oversee procurement, inventory and stock control for food, beverages, amenities and equipment.
• Ensure safety, hygiene and security practices meet HACCP, ASIC/VIC card and local authority standards.
• Liaise with airline partners, caterers and third‑party providers to ensure seamless service.
• Conduct regular facility inspections and prepare operational reports for senior management.
• Handle VIP guest relations, service recovery and complaint resolution.
• Implement training programmes for customer service, safety procedures and product knowledge.

Required profile

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, preferably in restaurants, lounges or fast‑food outlets.
• Strong communication skills; proficiency in a second language is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a team in a fast‑paced environment.
