Logistics & Operations Specialist

About the role

Morse Micro is seeking a Logistics & Operations Specialist to own end‑to‑end logistics for its Sydney head office. You will be the single point of accountability for all physical movements, from customer shipments and sample kits to inbound raw materials, high‑value RF equipment and internal transfers.

Key responsibilities

• Pick, pack and dispatch application products, commercial orders, free‑of‑charge samples and trade‑show shipments domestically and internationally.
• Prepare export documentation, manage carrier selection, booking, tracking and resolve transit exceptions.
• Receive inbound deliveries, verify against purchase orders, inspect condition, record receipts in NetSuite and maintain accurate bin locations.
• Coordinate inbound freight of raw materials and consumables from global suppliers and handle import clearance.
• Execute finished‑goods transactions, perform cycle counts, stocktakes and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Manage domestic and international movement of high‑value lab equipment, including crating, insurance, customs clearance and ATA carnets.
• Serve as in‑house expert on customs procedures, Incoterms, HS codes and export compliance.
• Configure and maintain NetSuite logistics functionality, troubleshoot system issues and develop process documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in logistics, warehousing, distribution or supply‑chain operations.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP/MRP systems for inventory and order transactions.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to work autonomously as the sole logistics owner on site.
