Logistics Coordinator

About the role

Brooks Automation, a global leader in laboratory automation solutions for the semiconductor and life sciences markets, is hiring a Logistics Coordinator. The role supports the delivery of laboratory automation products by handling orders, shipments and inventory, working closely with the Warehouse and Logistics team.

Key responsibilities

• Pick, label, pack, wrap and dispatch orders across the product range
• Process shipment transactions and keep accurate records in Oracle ERP
• Prepare, review and manage shipping documentation for domestic and international deliveries
• Troubleshoot ERP issues and liaise with internal support teams
• Book freight through carrier portals, coordinate with freight providers and forwarders, and source freight quotations
• Load and unload shipments safely, use cost-effective shipping methods and support urgent customer shipments with the Customer Solutions Group
• Take part in cycle counts, stocktakes and inventory control, and resolve inventory discrepancies
• Provide backup support for receiving goods and comply with ISO 13485 quality procedures, reporting non-conforming materials
• Contribute to continuous improvement and keep the warehouse safe, clean and organised

Required profile

• Strong interest in a career in logistics or warehousing
• Previous logistics or warehouse experience preferred, but motivated candidates ready to learn will be considered
• Teamwork, problem-solving, communication and attention to detail
• Ability to lift and move products safely and to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Required skills

• Competent computer skills; MS Office is viewed favourably
• ERP experience and knowledge of freight carriers (DHL, FedEx, UPS) is an advantage, with training provided
• Forklift licence or willingness to obtain one through a provided course
