Litigation Officer

About the role

We are looking for motivated individuals to join our Litigation and Legal Services team as Litigation Officers. In this role you will handle less complex litigation matters under the guidance of senior staff, contributing to the delivery of effective legal outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake less complex litigation, including debt recovery, tax technical and administrative law matters.
• Conduct legal research and prepare briefs, court documents, and correspondence.
• Manage case timeframes and support dispute resolution processes.
• Appear in legal proceedings and hearings for assigned matters.
• Work both autonomously and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
• Assist senior litigators on more complex cases and share knowledge with the team.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, including enhancements to litigation practices, policy technology, and reporting.
