Lifestyle Assistant (Part‑time, Mount Warren Park)

About the role

Palm Lake Care is seeking a part‑time Lifestyle Assistant to join its Mount Warren Park aged‑care community. Working 15.6 hours per fortnight, you will help create and deliver engaging activities that enhance residents' wellbeing and quality of life.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and facilitate individual and group activities for residents.
• Collaborate with the Clinical Manager and Lifestyle Team Leader to align programs with care goals.
• Maintain activity records and ensure compliance with the AN‑ACC framework.
• Support residents to participate safely, promoting dignity and independence.
• Assist with setting up equipment and spaces for activities.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar lifestyle or activities role.
• Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent.
• Current National Police Check.
• Understanding of the AN‑ACC framework.
• Enthusiasm, creativity and a compassionate approach to older people.

Required skills

• Knowledge of aged‑care activity planning.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
