Lifestyle Assistant

About the role

Palm Lake Care Bethania is looking for a part‑time Lifestyle Assistant to join its resident‑focused team. You will work closely with the Clinical Manager and Lifestyle Team Leader to create and deliver a variety of individual and group activities that enhance the wellbeing of our aged‑care residents.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and facilitate daily activities that promote dignity, independence and quality of life.
• Collaborate with clinical and lifestyle staff to tailor programmes to individual resident needs.
• Maintain activity records and report outcomes to the Lifestyle Team Leader.
• Ensure a safe, welcoming environment during all resident interactions.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar aged‑care or lifestyle role.
• Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support (or equivalent).
• Current National Police Check.
• Understanding of the AN‑ACC framework.
• Certificate IV in Leisure and Health (or working towards) is desirable.
• Enthusiasm, creativity and a compassionate approach to older people and their families.
