Librarian

About the role

The Librarian will lead the College Library, supporting learners from Years 5 to 12 by providing access to information, resources and dynamic services. This full‑time term‑time position is permanent and offers the chance to shape a vibrant hub of learning and discovery within a Catholic educational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily library operations to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Coordinate and promote library programs and events in partnership with the Program Leader.
• Manage digital resources, including databases, e‑books and online journals.
• Develop strategies to increase library usage and community engagement.
• Support students with research, reference and advisory services.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Studies or Library Science.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and apply technologies that enhance library services.
• Excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail for data integrity and accuracy.
