Liability Claims Consultant

About the role

Crawford TPA, a global claims management and outsourcing provider, is hiring a Liability Claims Consultant to join a high-performing team managing complex liability claims across Australia. The role covers personal injury and property liability claims from lodgement through to settlement, with close collaboration with clients and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of liability claims from lodgement through to settlement
• Assess coverage, liability and claim quantum in line with legislation and policy requirements
• Investigate and manage complex personal injury and property liability claims
• Provide technical advice and recommendations to clients and stakeholders
• Take part in client reviews and claims strategy discussions
• Handle escalated claims matters and complaints where required
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, solicitors, brokers and external service providers

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience managing liability claims
• Strong understanding of relevant legislation and claims handling practices
• Desirable: tertiary qualification in Law, Business, Insurance or a related discipline
