Level 1/2 Physiotherapist (Fixed-Term Part-Time)

About the role

HammondCare is recruiting a Level 1/2 Physiotherapist for a fixed-term part-time position of 16 hours per week, working Mondays and Tuesdays until the end of May 2027. The role sits within the Mission and Mission in Action of HammondCare and aims to provide a high standard of physiotherapy service to hospital patients, together with support and advice for their carers.

Key responsibilities

• Work as a member of the multi-disciplinary team to assess patients' level of functional mobility and care needs.
• Set care goals and provide appropriate, patient-centred, evidence-based treatment.
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement in line with the values and ethics of HammondCare and the Australian Physiotherapy Association.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist.
• Experience providing physiotherapy services in rehabilitation or other sub-acute areas of care, such as palliative care.
• Commitment to professional development and implementation of evidence-based practice.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
