Occupational Therapist

About the role

Cerebral Palsy Alliance is hiring an Occupational Therapist for its Prairiewood site, a team of 20 therapists who deliver intervention in therapy rooms and run a funded baby clinic for children under 2 at risk of cerebral palsy. The position is full time and open to part time for the right applicant, with work split between the clinic and the community.

Key responsibilities

• Provide goal-directed intervention to clients ranging from infants to 65+, with a varied and complex caseload
• Prescribe, deliver and review assistive technology (AT) and equipment
• Work with a multidisciplinary team (SP, OT, PT and EP) to support client independence
• Carry out community liaison and connection
• Receive ongoing support from a clinical educator and manager, with the chance to specialise in areas of interest

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Occupational Therapy
• Current AHPRA registration
• Current driver's licence and your own vehicle
