About the role
Join the Queensland Building and Construction Commission as a Legal Support Officer, providing essential administrative and case‑management assistance to a busy legal team. You will work in a fast‑paced environment supporting court processes and legal professionals within the building and construction sector.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, collate and file court documents for submission.
- Maintain accurate electronic case records, file notes and data entry across case‑management systems.
- Liaise with court registries to monitor case progress, deadlines and timelines.
- Support the legal team with day‑to‑day administrative tasks and correspondence.
- Ensure all documentation complies with regulatory and procedural standards.
Required profile
- Proven administrative experience in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a close‑knit team.
- Excellent organisation, prioritisation and multitasking abilities.
- Previous experience in legal administration is desirable.
