Legal Specialist – Private Equity & M&A

About the role

Scissero is seeking a Legal Specialist to support live private equity, M&A, and financing transactions for leading global investment firms, asset managers, and corporates. You will work with an AI‑enhanced platform to draft, review, and negotiate NDAs and related transaction documents while ensuring alignment with client‑approved playbooks.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate NDAs and ancillary transaction documents across private equity, M&A, and financing deals.
• Apply client‑specific playbooks and structured frameworks to maintain consistency with sponsor‑side legal and commercial positions.
• Identify deviations from playbook guidance and insert appropriate fallback language.
• Manage your own workflow and document queue to meet defined turnaround times.
• Support multiple concurrent transactions in fast‑paced environments.
• Collaborate with the global legal team to ensure high‑quality, consistent delivery.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to refine AI tools that underpin the delivery model.

Required profile

• LLB degree or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience in transactional legal work, contract review, or high‑volume legal environments.
• Experience reviewing NDAs or similar transactional agreements.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Comfort working within clearly defined rules and structured playbooks.
