Legal Counsel / Law Clerk

About the role

Egis Group is seeking a Legal Counsel or Law Clerk to support its Australian and New Zealand projects. The role involves contract review, compliance, risk management and providing legal training across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct contract reviews and negotiations for design, construction, subcontract, software licensing and SaaS agreements.
• Provide legal operations support on compliance, risk and regulatory matters.
• Deliver ad‑hoc legal training to business teams and support senior lawyers on various matters.
• Offer clear, solution‑focused legal advice to internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• 0–2 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in contract law.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently, under pressure and with strong attention to detail.
• Resilient team player with a can‑do attitude and relevant rights to live and work in Australia full‑time.
