Lecturer – Master of Social Work (Qualifying)

About the role

Acknowledge Education is seeking a Lecturer for its Master of Social Work (Qualifying) program. You will lead curriculum development, deliver high‑quality teaching, and ensure compliance with the Higher Education Standards Framework while providing a student‑centric learning experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver face‑to‑face teaching sessions and student engagement activities.
• Create learning materials such as study guides, webinars, and assessment instructions.
• Provide study assistance via face‑to‑face, LMS, phone, or email.
• Mark assessments in line with moderation policies and identify students at risk, developing individual learning plans.
• Maintain and update subject sites on the Learning Management System.

Required profile

• PhD in Social Work (completed or in progress) OR a Master’s in Social Work with at least 5 years of teaching experience.
• Eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
• Proven experience developing tertiary curricula and teaching materials.
• Strong understanding of social work theory and practice, high professional and ethical standards, and collaborative approach.
