About the role

The School of Health at UniSC is seeking a teaching‑focused academic to join its Bachelor of Paramedicine program. You will deliver contemporary, practice‑linked teaching and support students to become job‑ready registered paramedics.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality teaching across classroom, simulation, practical and online environments.
• Develop and enhance curricula, assessments and learning activities that reflect current paramedic practice.
• Coordinate work‑integrated learning opportunities, including regional and rural placements.
• Contribute to scholarship, research and engagement activities within the School of Health.

Required profile

• Registered with the Paramedicine Board of Australia and holds a relevant degree (post‑graduate qualifications desirable).
• Demonstrated effectiveness as a teacher through student feedback, peer review or student outcomes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to inclusive, practical learning experiences.
• Active membership in professional bodies and connections with industry partners.

Required skills

• Ability to design and deliver higher‑education curricula for paramedicine.
• Experience using simulation and online learning platforms to create authentic learning experiences.
