Learning Enrichment Teacher (Years 7‑12)

About the role

Kambala is seeking a qualified Learning Enrichment Teacher for Years 7‑12 to join its permanent faculty from Term 1, 2027. The role provides specialist in‑class support to students with additional learning needs, fostering an inclusive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of students requiring enrichment and support.
• Develop and implement Individualised Learning Plans (ILPs).
• Provide in‑class differentiation while maintaining a full‑time teaching load.
• Liaise with parents, external agencies and pastoral staff.
• Ensure compliance with NCCD reporting and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• NESA‑qualified teacher in NSW.
• Minimum two years of secondary Learning Support experience.
• Strong experience teaching Stages 4‑5 English (preferred).
• Post‑graduate qualifications or equivalent extensive experience.
• Passionate advocate for diverse learning needs and a collaborative team player.

Required skills

• Design and delivery of literacy‑focused programmes.
• Ability to create and monitor Individualised Learning Plans.
• Effective communication with students, families and staff.
