Lead Forward Deployed Engineer

About the role

As a Lead Forward Deployed Engineer you will drive end‑to‑end delivery of AI‑powered products for enterprise clients. You will work in a consulting environment, embedding with client teams to translate ambiguous business problems into production‑grade solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Own technical delivery from discovery, scoping and prototyping through to stable production and client adoption.
• Lead client‑facing workshops, present solutions to senior stakeholders and manage project risks, estimates and dependencies.
• Architect and build full‑stack, AI‑enhanced systems using modern cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and AI coding tools.
• Mentor junior engineers, uplift AI‑native capabilities across the team and contribute code when needed.
• Collaborate with sales and presales to shape proposals, solution approaches and technical responses.

Required profile

• 10+ years of hands‑on software development experience, including client‑facing consulting roles.
• Proven ability to manage projects end‑to‑end with minimal direction and navigate ambiguous requirements.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills, comfortable presenting to enterprise executives.
• Deep full‑stack expertise with a generalist mindset and curiosity to learn new technologies.

Required skills

• ReactJS (frontend) and NodeJS, Java or Python (backend) development.
• Experience with cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, GCP.
• Daily use of AI coding tools such as GHCP, Claude Code, Cursor or Codex.
• Knowledge of LLMs, generative AI models and prompt engineering.
• Strong solution architecture and system design capabilities.
