Lead Educator

About the role

Campbelltown & K (C&K) is a child-safe organisation and Queensland's leading provider of early childhood education, with a history of more than 119 years. As a Lead Educator at its nGundanoo Community Childcare Centre, you will support and guide children's learning and development so they become curious, capable and confident lifelong learners. The Centre Director and her team will support you, and you will collaborate with them to create a safe, supportive and engaging play-based learning environment for children, their families and the wider community.

The position is a fixed-term full-time role until 24 December.

Required profile

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
• First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification
• Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card
• Police check current within three months (or willingness to obtain one)
• Completion of the National Child Safety Training Foundation Certificate
• Passion for high-quality outcomes for children, families and the community, and a team-player mindset

All C&K employees must undergo a police check and not be a Restricted Person or Suspended Educator under the QLD Blue Card system. The employer welcomes Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants, CALD backgrounds and people with additional needs.
