Lead DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a senior DevOps/Cloud Engineer to own the architecture and build the platform for a fast‑growing technology scale‑up. This hands‑on leadership position will set the infrastructure roadmap, design solutions and implement them across a multi‑region, GPU‑intensive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the cloud and infrastructure roadmap, including GCP adoption and Azure future integration.
• Design, build, and maintain Terraform‑based IaC, Kubernetes clusters, Docker containers, and Linux environments.
• Implement large‑scale data processing pipelines and multi‑region GPU compute infrastructure.
• Drive CI/CD automation, security, resilience, and data‑sovereignty practices.
• Mentor an existing engineer and grow a Cloud/DevOps team as the business scales.

Required profile

• Methodical, proactive, and able to anticipate platform needs 6‑12 months ahead.
• Strong leadership mindset with experience guiding engineers and shaping technical strategy.

Required skills

• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) – primary cloud provider.
• Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
• Kubernetes and Docker.
• Linux system administration.
• Large‑scale data processing and multi‑region GPU compute.
• CI/CD pipelines, automation, security, and data sovereignty.
