Land & Strategic Partnerships Manager

About the role

ABN Group, a builder, property and home finance group active for over 45 years in Western Australia and Victoria, is hiring a Land & Strategic Partnerships Manager for its Retail team. You will lead land strategy, shape future land supply and market opportunities, and strengthen developer partnerships. This is a 12-month fixed-term position based at the Leederville office, reporting directly to the General Manager – Retail.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute land strategies supporting growth and competitive advantage across retail brands
• Build and maintain relationships with property developers, industry partners and external stakeholders
• Identify and negotiate future land supply, exclusive land programs and partnership opportunities
• Lead geographic market analysis, including emerging opportunities, trends and risks
• Drive the display home strategy and influence estate planning, land releases, lot configurations and development outcomes
• Lead, mentor and develop the Land Team
• Work with Sales, Marketing, Product, Design and Operations teams
• Oversee developer agreements, land commitments and operational processes
• Provide market intelligence, performance reporting and strategic recommendations

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in residential construction, property development or a related property industry
• Experience establishing, managing and influencing relationships with developers and senior stakeholders
• Experience leading, developing or influencing teams
• Relevant tertiary qualification in property or valuation highly regarded

Required skills

• Understanding of land supply, property markets, sales and marketing strategies
• Negotiation and stakeholder management
• Ability to interpret market data and recommend actions
• Strong organisational skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach
