Operations Manager - Dumas Precinct

About the role

JLL is hiring an experienced Operations Manager for its Dumas Precinct in West Perth. The vacancy arose through an internal transfer, and the role covers a high-profile commercial asset portfolio including Dumas Precinct, Barracks Arch and Albert Facey House. You will provide senior engineering operational leadership and support across building operations, working with Property Managers, Account Directors and wider building teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the site operations team across the precinct assets
• Oversee day-to-day building operations, engineering services, compliance and maintenance
• Manage operational issues, drive process improvements and support risk mitigation
• Provide technical support to the Property Manager, Account Director and building teams
• Help develop asset strategies, operational budgets and capital investment plans
• Liaise with consultants and contractors on sustainability initiatives such as NABERS and Green Star
• Keep building systems and essential services running effectively
• Manage procurement and service contracts in line with State Government guidelines and JLL standards
• Deliver accurate, timely operational reporting to clients and senior management

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience managing building operations in commercial properties
• Leadership experience leading and developing high-performing teams
• Stakeholder engagement and customer service skills
• Sound understanding of workplace, building and compliance legislation for commercial assets
• Experience managing building systems such as fire, electrical and building intelligence systems
• Engineering degree or diploma preferred (or equivalent technical qualification)
