About the role
The Laboratory Manager will lead all laboratory activities supporting our circular plastics recycling operations. This role combines technical expertise, leadership, and a commitment to sustainability.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee laboratory operations, including quality control testing, data analysis, equipment maintenance, and sample management.
- Ensure rigorous quality control standards, equipment calibration, and proper sample labeling and storage.
- Coordinate data collection, analysis, and reporting, identifying trends and potential quality issues.
- Develop and deliver training programs for laboratory staff on testing methods, equipment use, safety, and quality protocols.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.
Required profile
- Proven experience managing a laboratory, preferably in plastics or recycling.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Commitment to safety, environmental sustainability, and high‑quality standards.
Required skills
- Spectrophotometer operation
- Rheometer operation
- Mechanical testing machine operation
- Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) knowledge
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
