About the role

Campbelltown & K (C&K) Yuingi Community Childcare Centre is looking for a caring and reliable Kitchenhand to join its team. Working alongside the Cook, the Kitchenhand helps prepare healthy, delicious meals that support the growth, wellbeing and development of the children in care, while making sure each child's dietary requirements are met safely and thoughtfully.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare healthy and delicious meals in the kitchen
• Work alongside the Cook
• Ensure every child's dietary requirements are met safely and thoughtfully each day

Required profile

• A valid Blue Card
• A current Police Check
• Completion of the National Child Safety Training Foundation Certificate
• Relevant kitchen or food preparation experience is considered even without formal qualifications

Required skills

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or related discipline) is highly desirable
• Food Handling Certificate

What we offer

• $33.45 - $38.92 per hour plus superannuation
• 25 hours per week, 5 hours each Monday to Friday, with no weekends or evenings
