Kitchen Steward – Part‑time

About the role

The Kitchen Steward supports the culinary team at Pullman & Mercure King George Square, ensuring the kitchen environment is clean, organised and ready for service.

Key responsibilities

• Rinse and load dirty crockery and cutlery into the dishwasher, unload and store clean items.
• Hand‑wash pots, wipe down benches, sweep and mop floors.
• Provide clean and sanitised equipment to all food‑and‑beverage outlets.
• Transport and store food items using correct handling techniques.

Required profile

• Motivated and committed team player with a flexible attitude.
• Ability to work various rostered shifts, including early mornings, late evenings and weekends.
• Adherence to safe work practices and strong communication skills.

Required skills

• Commercial dishwashing experience (desirable).
• Experience in a fast‑paced kitchen environment.
• Understanding of stock management and general kitchen cleaning.
