Kitchen Steward

About the role

Crown Perth's restaurants are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Kitchen Stewards for full-time, part-time and casual positions. The role helps maintain the highest standards in back-of-house kitchen operations, keeping all areas clean, organised and ready for service. It is a hands-on position suited to people who enjoy a fast-paced environment and take pride in supporting a team. Valid work rights and availability across a 24/7 roster are required.

Key responsibilities

• Operate commercial dishwashers and kitchen equipment to keep the area clean and efficient
• Organise and manually clean kitchen equipment, polish surfaces and store utensils and cookware
• Clear rubbish bins and remove waste from floors and work surfaces to keep the environment safe and hygienic

Required profile

• Ability to work a variety of shifts, including afternoon, overnight and weekend shifts
• Experience in a kitchen or commercial cleaning role is preferred
• Relevant experience in a similar environment
• Comfortable with physical tasks such as lifting, carrying and cleaning

Required skills

• Experience using industrial cleaning products and equipment correctly is preferred
