Kitchen Hand

About the role

We are looking for a motivated part‑time Kitchen Hand to join our team at the Adelaide Domestic Lounges. You will help keep the kitchen spotless and support the team in delivering a high‑quality dining experience for our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain hygiene by cleaning crockery, cutlery, glassware and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashers and manual methods.
• Carry out rubbish removal, sweep and mop kitchen floors.
• Disinfect and clean surfaces, following the correct sequence of chemical usage.
• Assist the kitchen team with basic food preparation tasks such as grating, peeling, chopping, and preparing batters, garnishes and seasonings.

Required profile

• Practical experience in kitchen operations and cleaning procedures.
• Enthusiastic "can‑do" attitude with a positive, motivated demeanor.
• Ability to work well in a diverse, fast‑paced team.
• Flexible availability for shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to work a 7‑day rotating roster.
