About the role
The Yook restaurant in Baulkham Hills is looking for back-of-house kitchen staff to help deliver an outstanding dining experience. The main responsibility is to assist the chef in preparing meals and keeping kitchen orders running smoothly, while maintaining a high standard of housekeeping. The role is listed as Assistant Chef in hot food, cold food or meat, or Kitchen Hand, and is full-time or part-time.
Key responsibilities
- Provide superior assistance to the chef
- Handle customers' orders efficiently and accurately
- Assist in complying with sanitation and safety regulations
- Ensure a five-star dining experience and high standards of housekeeping
- Lead by example and support colleagues during busy moments
Required profile
- A love for Korean barbecue and Korean cuisine
- Eagerness to learn and follow protocols
- Korean or Japanese restaurant experience preferred but not essential
