Kidzone Support Officer

About the role

The Kidzone Support Officer plays a vital role in delivering quality child‑focused entertainment and distraction programs within the Queensland Children’s Hospital. This casual, onsite position supports daily operations of the Kidzone playroom and related impact programs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead volunteers and families in using Kidzone and Loans digital sign‑in/out systems for accurate records.
• Ensure child supervision in Kidzone complies with care restrictions.
• Coordinate daily play sessions, resource loans and birthday present requests promptly.
• Assist the Impact Programs team with event setup and pack‑down, including seasonal events.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of relevant experience in a similar role or industry.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes.
• Excellent time‑management, organisation and multitasking in a fast‑paced environment.
• Professional customer service skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Required skills

• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience using web‑based platforms for administration.
