Key Accounts Executive

About the role

Bega is looking for a Key Accounts Executive to join its South Australian team. The role supports the Key Account Manager and helps drive sales, profitability and market share growth across key independent grocery customers such as Drakes, Foodland and IGA (Metcash). It sits within the IG team and works with internal and external stakeholders to run sales programmes, manage promotional investments and deliver customer initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Support delivery of Joint Business Plans, promotional strategies and commercial objectives across key SA independent grocery accounts.
• Manage trade spend, customer claims and promotional investment processes to keep them efficient and accurate.
• Coordinate promotions, merchandising and sales initiatives with the field sales team for strong in-market execution.
• Provide forecasting support and work with Demand Planning and other teams on business planning.
• Monitor sales performance, support range reviews and find ways to improve execution and grow the business.

Required profile

• Previous FMCG sales experience in field sales, account management or customer-facing commercial roles, with a track record of driving customer and business growth.
• Strong commercial and analytical ability, able to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Highly organised, with attention to detail and experience managing forecasting, promotions and administrative processes.
• Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated, adaptable and able to manage competing priorities.

Required skills

• Current driver's licence.
• Pre-employment medical required.
