Key Account Manager

About the role

Join a globally recognised premium outdoor consumer goods business in its growth phase, managing two strategically important national retail partnerships across Australia and New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

• Build and nurture strategic relationships with two major national retailers, developing joint business plans.
• Lead negotiations, manage account budgets and trade spend to drive profitable growth.
• Analyse customer, category and competitor data to inform account strategies and commercial decisions.
• Execute product launches, seasonal programmes, promotions and retail activations both in‑store and online.
• Report performance, opportunities and insights to senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in key or national account management, preferably within outdoor consumer goods or a premium product category.
• Track record of growing accounts through strong relationships, structured planning and consistent execution.
• Confidence in negotiating pricing, promotions, trading terms and customer investment.
• Sound commercial judgement in forecasting, trade‑spend management and performance analysis.
