Key Account Manager

About the role

Wilmar Sugar Australia is seeking a Key Account Manager to oversee and expand a portfolio of key grower accounts across the Burdekin region. The role blends relationship management with proactive business development, requiring frequent travel to connect with growers, identify opportunities, and secure new business while strengthening existing partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead growth by attracting new growers and deepening relationships with high‑value clients through strategic engagement.
• Manage key grower accounts, delivering exceptional service and providing information on sugar pricing, cash‑flow options, and related opportunities.
• Build and maintain industry connections by collaborating with growers, advisors, and stakeholders, and representing the company at events and forums.
• Promote a safe and responsible workplace by following health, safety, and environmental procedures and reporting hazards.
• Support planning and budgeting activities, manage grower‑related risks, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

Required profile

• Advanced commercial account and relationship management capabilities.
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a similar account‑management or sales role.
