Key Account Manager - Insurance & Replacement

About the role

Hertz is looking for a customer-focused, high-performing Key Account Manager for its Insurance & Replacement business in Melbourne. The role grows profitable revenue by retaining and growing motor insurance and replacement business and developing key customer relationships within a defined geographical area.

Key responsibilities

• Own and deliver exceptional customer service to the most important customers in the motor insurance and replacement segment
• Manage logistics, operational, reporting and technology projects end to end, including disaster management or weather event projects
• Work with internal departments and franchisees so that key performance indicators are met
• Improve the company's competitive position and profitability through business growth in the assigned territory
• Work with the Regional Manager Sales, Insurance & Replacement ANZ on strategic initiatives and on customer tenders and negotiations
• Plan and implement an annual sales plan for the territory in line with Hertz's strategy and the country and region's business plan
• Develop new accounts in the vehicle replacement segment and grow existing ones
• Analyse customer patterns and preferences to find growth opportunities and predict trends

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years' experience in field sales managing a complex product or service, with motor insurance providers, vehicle leasing, roadside assistance, accident management companies or the corporate travel industry
• Attention to detail, tenacity and comfort in a fast-paced environment
• Strategic mindset, self-confidence and excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to build strong relationships and liaise with internal teams and senior executives
