About the role
Join a fast‑growing Australian space and defence start‑up developing next‑generation spacecraft and autonomous systems. As a Junior Spacecraft Thermal Engineer you will work on thermal analysis, modelling and spacecraft design, collaborating closely with electronics, avionics and broader engineering teams.
Key responsibilities
- Perform thermal analysis and modelling for spacecraft components and systems.
- Collaborate with electronics, avionics and other engineering disciplines to integrate thermal solutions.
- Contribute to spacecraft design efforts and support rapid‑response space missions.
Required profile
- A degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Space Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field.
- Experience from university projects, internships or early‑career roles involving thermal engineering or spacecraft systems.
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and first‑principles thinking.
