Junior Project Manager – Government Strategy & Delivery Consultant

About the role

Our client, a leading advisory firm in Brisbane, is seeking a Junior Project Manager to join the Government Strategy & Delivery team. The role involves supporting the delivery of strategic advisory, transformation and program delivery engagements for Queensland Government and major infrastructure organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Support consulting engagements across government and infrastructure sectors.
• Conduct research, analysis, stakeholder engagement and workshop activities.
• Assist with business case development, strategic reviews, governance frameworks and transformation initiatives.
• Prepare reports, presentations and client‑facing documentation.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions.
• Support project and program delivery activities.
• Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to business development activities where appropriate.

Required profile

• 3–7 years of experience in consulting, advisory, project delivery or transformation.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
• Proven experience facilitating workshops and discussions.
• Excellent written communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Collaborative and proactive approach.
