Junior Project Manager – Commercial Landscaping

About the role

A Sydney-based landscape construction company with more than 20 staff is looking for a Junior Project Manager to join its delivery team. You will work on a full book of major projects into 2027, delivering works for Tier 2 and Tier 1 builders valued between $200k and $5m, such as landscape packages for new estates, schools, child care centres, retirement villages and colleges. You will learn alongside an established Project Manager and Managing Director who will provide structured mentoring.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with program and schedule work
• Order materials and organise deliveries
• Manage resources and delegate to Leading Hands and Site Managers
• Handle subcontractor engagement
• Track costs and forecast
• Ensure safety, compliance and quality assurance
• Liaise with clients and suppliers
• Lead crews on site and report to Project Managers

Required profile

• Certificate III in Landscape Construction or Horticulture (required)
• Relevant tertiary qualification in construction (bonus)
• Landscape construction site experience in Australia
• Drivers licence and willingness to travel

Required skills

• Strong computer skills
