Junior Insurance Broker

About the role

Join the Local Community Insurance Services (LCIS) team, a division of Marsh, to support community groups and not‑for‑profit organisations across Australia. This hybrid position requires you to be in the Adelaide office at least three days a week.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients, building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Handle inbound calls, emails, quotations, endorsements, and new business requests.
• Oversee policy renewals to ensure timely and appropriate coverage.
• Identify opportunities to provide tailored insurance solutions and advise on coverage options.
• Collaborate with internal teams on policy administration, billing, finance, and claims management.
• Document all client interactions accurately in company systems.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years experience in an insurance account management or broking role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a call‑centre environment and handle back‑to‑back calls.
• Willingness to complete company‑directed compliance training, including RG146 Tier 1.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using client management systems.
