Junior Insurance Broker

About the role

Join the Local Community Insurance Services (LCIS) team, a division of JLT Risk Solutions at Marsh, to provide specialist insurance advice to community groups and not‑for‑profit organisations across Australia. This hybrid role is based in Adelaide and requires at least three days per week in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients, building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Handle inbound calls and emails, arrange quotations, endorsements, and new business.
• Oversee policy renewals, ensuring timely and appropriate coverage.
• Identify opportunities to deliver insurance solutions that exceed client expectations.
• Collaborate with internal teams on policy administration, billing, finance and claims management.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years experience in an account management or similar role within the insurance industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a call‑centre environment and manage back‑to‑back calls.
• Willingness to complete company‑directed compliance training, including RG146 Tier 1.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using client management systems.
