Junior Full Stack Engineer

About the role

Pivot Wealth is building an in‑house engineering team to power its award‑winning financial advice platform. As a Junior Full Stack Engineer you will work on the core CRM application, delivering features from database design through API implementation to React UI, and you will get hands‑on experience with AI‑assisted development.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship end‑to‑end features in the CRM (PostgreSQL, Node.js API, React UI).
• Write unit and end‑to‑end tests using Vitest and Playwright as a standard practice.
• Craft raw SQL queries, migrations, and optimise database performance without relying on an ORM.
• Build and maintain UI components with Next.js (App Router) and Tailwind CSS.
• Identify blockers early, raise quality concerns in code reviews, and collaborate directly with business users to gather requirements.
• Leverage AI coding tools to accelerate development and contribute to automation projects such as a bug‑fix agent pipeline.

• TypeScript 5, Node.js 20

• Docker, Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, GCS, Secret Manager)
• AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot)
• Zod for data validation
