Joint User Hydrant Installation (JUHI) Operator – Brisbane Airport

About the role

Viva Energy is seeking a Joint User Hydrant Installation (JUHI) Operator to join its Brisbane Airport team. The role is essential to maintaining the airport’s single source of fuel supply, ensuring safe and efficient fuel delivery around the clock.

Key responsibilities

• Safe and accurate delivery of aviation fuel to customers within required timeframes.
• Perform quality control testing of road‑transported fuel and conduct airside fuel sampling.
• Access and work at elevated heights, including roof inspections of on‑site storage tanks.
• Carry out manual handling and repetitive lifting tasks as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support 24 × 7 operations with minimal supervision.

Required profile

• Strong commitment to Health, Safety, Security & Environment (HSSE) practices.
• Attention to detail and a solid work ethic.
• Effective communication skills and a positive outlook.
• Mechanical aptitude and reliable transport.
• Current driver’s licence (minimum two years full licence).
• Willingness to obtain MR/HR Class Licence, Dangerous Goods Licence, Aviation Security Identity Card (ASIC) and Airside Drivers Authority.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, to support continuous airport operations.
